We make technology make sense

Technonewur is an independent technology newsroom based in Berlin. We report on the people, products and ideas shaping the digital world — without the hype.

Our story

Founded by reporters, built for readers

Technonewur began in 2017 as a small newsletter written from a shared workspace on the Kurfürstendamm. We were frustrated by coverage that chased clicks instead of clarity, so we set out to build something different: technology journalism that respects your time and your intelligence.

Today our team of writers, editors and reviewers publishes daily news, long-form analysis and rigorously tested product reviews read by more than two million people each month across 42 countries. We remain independent and reader-funded, which means our only obligation is to you.

What guides us

Our values

Independence

We never accept payment for coverage. Sponsored content is always clearly labelled and kept separate from our reporting.

Rigor

Every review is based on hands-on testing. Every claim is sourced. When we get something wrong, we correct it openly.

Clarity

Technology is complicated. Our job is to make it understandable — without dumbing it down or talking past you.
